This program is designed for students with some truck driving experience, such as class B driving but this program will not usually meet the standards for regional/over the road employment with major carriers. Smaller carriers will often accept the advanced program. Students coming into the 80 hour usually will not have a CDL-A but need to have the class A permit¿fees must be collected for drug screening and DOT physical. The program consists of 50 hours of classroom training, which MUST include the entry level classroom requirements. It will also include 30 hours behind the wheel (7-four hour sessions and 2 hour road test which includes the TOP, TORT and TOST final test). This program is an excellent upgrade from Class B into Class A.
