Whether you are seeking state licensing as an appraiser or building a resume or portfolio, you will find value in the information presented during this course. It is comprised of four basic components: basic appraisal principles and procedures, residential appraiser site valuation, and small income-producing property. The fundamentals will define an open discussion on the basics of appraising to include standards, markets, analysis, finance and concepts related to the industry. General topics will include real property concepts and characteristics, influences on real estate value, legal considerations, types of value, economic principles, real estate markets and analysis, valuation process, residential applications, sales comparison and income approaches to appraisal, and property definition and highest and best-use analysis.
