This course is an in-depth study of proven marketing communication strategy development with an emphasis on social media. In this course, participants will be introduced to the five strategic approaches to social media public relations and learn how they relate to engagement with consumers, stakeholders and the media. Building on these strategies, participants will learn about inbound marketing communications, and walk away with a clear understanding of how corporate blogging works, why e-mail marketing is so important to customer engagement, and how to leverage social media to build community around their company's brand. Additionally participants will be introduced to keyword research and the importance of optimizing content for search. At the end of the course participants will understand why corporate blogging, email marketing, social media, website design, and optimizing content for search are the most powerful engagement tolls to generate leads, nurture relationships and strengthen a company's brand on and offline.
