Students will be trained in and become familiar with the safety-related work practices required by OSHA Subpart S. The training requirements contained in Subpart S apply to employees who face a risk of electric shock that is not reduced to a safe level by the electrical installation requirements of 1910.303 and 1910.398. Arc Flash safety precautions are also covered.
