This class is sponsored in conjunction with the local ASQ section in preparation for the December 5, 2009 (Registration deadline October 16, 2009), Certified Quality Engineer exam at Ivy Tech Community College. The CQE prep class covers the principles of product and service quality evaluation and control, development and operation of quality control systems, application and analysis of testing and inspection procedures, the use of metrology and statistical methods to diagnose and correct improper quality control practices, an understanding of human factors and motivation, quality cost concepts and techniques, development and administration of management information systems and to audit quality systems for deficiency identification and correction.
