The Basics of Green Technology is an introductory course designed to teach the fundamental concepts of alternative energy production, use and consumption. Focusing on homeowners, consumers and the non-professional, the course is for the audience that has little knowledge about alternative energy systems but wants to learn more. The ultimate goal of the course is to provide enough information that individuals can make better informed decisions about public and governmental policy decisions, about which types of alternative energy systems may be utilized in their own homes or businesses, as well as the benefits and cost effectiveness as it relates to the environment.
