Become an early pioneer for awhile and help cook stone soup over a wood fire in a large iron kettle at the historic Breeding Farm. As the soup simmers in chicken stock, you take a guided tour of the farm house, visit the Reeves collection of farm machinery, and enjoy the reading of Stone Soup, a children¿s book by Ann McGovern, and several nonsense poems. Please bring one cup or more of washed and sliced, diced, or julienne vegetables. Inside seating for inclement weather is available. Sponsored by the Bartholomew County Historical Society.
