This course is designed for community leaders who are seeking to broaden their understanding of how the three areas of race, social class, and power influence and impact their daily lives and the lives of others within and outside their immediate communities. The emphasis is on personal development, realizing that there are external influences that play a role in all human development. The course will allow each person, thorough dialogue, experiential activities research, to determine their future behavior and perceptions, based on individual values, responsibility, and action.
