This class teaches fundamental basics common to knitting and crocheting that can be taught at the same time to students desiring to learn either technique. Students will learn the basic stitches of either knitting or crochet; increasing and decreasing; to make a swatch to check gauge; learn about needle and hook sizes and yarns available; read basic patterns; how to finish ends; and complete several small projects. Additional stitches and techniques may be covered as time and skill allow.
