The Internet can ¿ literally- put the world at your fingertips. It also provides a wealth of information and resources for your kids. They can research papers, do their homework, and increase their understanding of our world through the use of the Internet. But there are dangers, too. Ivy Tech offers Keeping Your Kids Cyber Safe to provide parents, teachers, and caregivers with the tools and techniques to ensure children use the Internet safely and responsibly. You need to know who your children meet and what inforamtion they give out, and restrict what they view in cyberspace. This classroom-based course covers the basics of online safety, including the tools and software to help you monitor what your children do.
