Students will discover the true nature of the horse in this course. Instruction will include an overview of the responsibility of horse ownership, safety, and correct handling. Topics include cover care and communication with an opportunity for hands on-experience with all types of horses and ponies. Students will be introduced to safe riding techniques in both English and Western style.
