Did you know a few strategically placed trees can help to cool off a building and save on the use of air conditioning? Often, people don¿t realize that landscaping can have a big impact on environmentally friendly living. As part of its Sustainable Environment series, this Eco-Friendly Landscaping course teaches participants how landscape design can be planned and executed to support ecological living. Topics of discussion include landscaping to improve energy efficiency, using natural fertilizers, and uncovering ways to control weeds.
