English 095 provides students with a foundation in English grammar and an introduction to successful writing at the sentence to paragraph level. Students respond to a variety of readings and complete exercises designed to strengthen their command of Standard American grammar, punctuation, mechanics, usage, and paragraph development. English 095 is recommended for students who need to improve their command of Standard American English at the sentence and paragraph level. Prerequisite: None 0 cr. 3 Lec. (Per Departmental Standards Version of ENG 095, pending approval from Academic Affairs as of 11/12/09).
