This course is designed to introduce the EMS professional to issues in EMS leadership. Students explore challenges faced by EMS leaders including human resource issues. Relationship building and implementing improvement and change will be addressed. EMS students will gain insight into EMS leadership through discussions, reading, case studies. Prerequisites: EMS experience or permission of instructor. 1 cr. 1.5 lec. (Per Departmental Standards Version of EMS 195, approved by Academic Affairs on 09/23/2010).
