Description:
This is an introductory course which is designed to familiarize the student with the field of Computer Information Systems. This survey course will familiarize the student with the use of basic computer hardware, software, procedures, systems, and human resources in business and industry. The laboratory component permits students to work with basic computer components and to learn the fundamentals of elementary programming and computer software applications. This course is not open to students who have successfully completed or are currently enrolled in CIS 110, CIS 115, or CIS 116. 3 cr. 2 Lec. 2 Lab.
