This class is for high school students to become more familiar and confident with the audition process. We will focus on performing a monologue for audition purposes and building the character with in the monologue. Some of the areas of attention will be play analysis, character analysis, beat and intention, as well as interior monologue. Classes will involve performance of monologues as well as constructive criticism. Please prepare a two-minute monologue (preferably from a play) for the first class.
