Connect, Support, Succeed is a one-credit course specifically intended to provide male students in Nursing, an opportunity to connect with each other to develop a supportive network, as well as to expand and deepen their knowledge of their profession and their role within it. Discussion will focus on central issues for men in Nursing, such as stereotyping, and provide opportunities for social interaction. Students will have the opportunity to go on field trips to hospitals or other sites that provide role models of and connections for men in the Nursing field. Prerequisite: Concurrent enrollment NUR 112A or NUR 112B, or NUR 232, or permission of Instructor or Department Chair. 1 cr, 1 lec.
