Wind Power for Homeowners Students participating in this class will build a 500 watt axial-flux wind turbine from its basic raw components. Blades, stator, rotor, windings and mechanical assemblies will be discussed and constructed. Safety, tools, and procurement of components will also be covered. Mr. Juczak lectures and presents workshops nationally on a wide variety of topics including: mortgage free/alternative construction, building on and off grid home energy systems, self-reliance, cordwood construction techniques, wind turbine construction and food growing & preservation techniques.
