This course explores the global fashion business through a study of fashion principles, procedures, terminology, and the development of fashion trends. The use of current fashion and merchandising news provides insight into the various aspects of how the primary, secondary, retailing and auxiliary segments of the fashion industry interrelate. Specific areas of fashion will be covered including women's, men's, children's, accessories, and home furnishings. 3 cr. 3 Lec.
