Principal styles of Western art as mirrored in selected masterpieces of architecture, sculpture, painting, music, and literature. Specific works of art examined in relationship to one another and against background of ideas that animated life of their times (19th and 20th centuries). Prerequisites: SR ONLY Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
