Examines the mental processes involved in creating written communication. Considers the role of linguistic constraints, knowledge, and emotion in writing and how writing changes developmentally. The influence of writing on thought and knowledge change is considered. Prerequisites: SR ONLY Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
