Semiotics is concerned with systems of signs, their interrelationships, and the images used to transmit such systems. This course introduces students to structures and processes of communication through the use of semiotics. Prerequisites: SR ONLY Credit Hours: 5 General Education Code: 3 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
