Description:

Designed to increase students’ understanding of spoken Spanish through exposure to and practice with recorded oral materials. Students work with distinct language varieties including dialect variants, commercials, songs, jokes, and broadcasts. Strategies for developing listening skills are presented. Prerequisites: SPAN 213 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
