Designed to help students develop the knowledge and expertise required to facilitate personal and interpersonal development through adventure program experiences. Students will explore learning theories on which the practice of facilitation is based, consider various facilitation models & styles, build a repertoire of facilitation skills, and learn to enhance group processes through an analysis of the principles of group dynamics within the context of adventure programming. Prerequisites: REC 320 Credit Hours: 4 Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts. Note: Effective Summer Quarter 2010-11 (June 2011) any non-repeatable course may be retaken two times excluding withdrawals, but only last course taken counts.
