An analysis of basic components and operations of the economic system in the United States as they affect the consumer. Current consumer issues, influences, restrictions of consumer freedom of choice, major consumer expenditures, and resources which are available to consumers as they participate in decision making and consumption are discussed. 4 lec. Prerequisites: ECON 103 OR SOPH OR JR OR SR Credit Hours: 4 General Education Code: 2SS Repeat/Retake Information: May be retaken an unlimited number of times, but only last course taken counts.
