Description:
This course will focus on arranging and performing both traditional and contemporary African dances to be performed on a Western stage. At a professional level, the students will learn a minimum of four (4) dances, perform in The Ohio University African Ensembles Annual Dance Concert and choreograph a contemporary work for a final project. DANC 354 or audition is required. Prerequisites: DANC 354 & DANCE MAJOR OR MINOR Credit Hours: 2 Repeat/Retake Information: May be repeated for a maximum of 6 hours.
