This course covers the pharmaceutical principles of solid, liquid and dispersible systems as well as the principles concerned with the preparation, dispensing and action of pharmaceutical drug delivery systems. The physical and chemical principles involving solubility, pH effects and the selection of excipients (color, flavor, buffer, preservatives) and their effect on the performances and quality of various dosage forms will be examined.
