This course will provide an introduction to the strategies of assessing and evaluating various healthcare practices and interventions. Outcomes research provides the basis for scientists and clinicians to identify, collect and evaluate data from patient populations reflecting the results of a variety of therapies and procedures. The results of such biostatistical processes serves as the basis for evidence-based decision-making.
