Life drawing has been, since the renaissance, one of the core components of an artist¿s education. This course will focus on developing the essential skills needed for drawing the human body. The class is structured to accommodate the beginner and advanced student, allowing both to increase their knowledge and ability. Emphasis will be placed on simplifying the complex anatomy of the body into readily understandable visual systems. Proportional systems, structure and style will be covered in depth. Students with no previous drawing experience may wish to take drawing 1 prior to taking this course.
