TOPIC TITLE: Performance Improvement in a Global Environment This seminar is designed to introduce students to the challenges and implications of performance improvement that professionals will face when working on international projects. Students will develop awareness of globally diverse cultural issues, in an effort to enable them to conduct themselves--personally and professionally--in a manner that is sensitive and responsive to the needs of their clients, employees and business partners. Topics include: globalization, national cultures, standardization of cross-cultural procedures, global leadership, and managerial implications. Offered for one graduate credit.
