A required supervised field experience related to the teaching of a foreign language in grades 7-12. Involves a minimum of 45 clock hours of work and observation spread over one semester in a supervised classroom setting. Methods and techniques learned in EDD 496 will be used to increase the second language proficiency of learners in grades 7-12. Official admission to and good standing in teacher certification program are rquired. TB clearance, physician's statement of good health, criminal background clearance, and bloodborne pathogens/infectious diseases training are required.
