Encompasses specific counseling and professional development issues encountered by licensed counselors working in mental health agencies or private practice. Understanding the nature of the clientele and the issues, strategies for resolving client difficulties, collaborative practice, ethics, advocacy, knowledge and skills related to diversity and social justice are considered. Prerequisites: enrollment in Counselor Education program, successful completion or enrollment in CNSL 5060, 5650 and 5310.
