This course discusses basic methods in the synthesis of polymers (polymerization) as well as their applications toward to common and new promising polymer products. In addition, the kinetics of these methods, the synthetic processing techniques and the end products will be addressed together with applications and characterization of various polymers. Prerequisites: CHE 3015, CHE 4060, and CHEM 2440.
