Writing Basic Skills Prerequisite: ENGL 0301Reading Basic Skills Prerequisite: READ 0303Math Basic Skills Prerequisite: MATH 0302This course is a descriptive course in stellar, galactic, and extra-galactic astronomy intended for non-science majors needing a laboratory science course. Lecture and laboratory topics include celestial coordinates, light and telescopes, stars, the Milky Way, external galaxies, cosmology, and dark matter.
