Laboratory experience in the evaluation, intervention, and training of basic and instrumental activities of daily living for the physically, mentally, and cognitively disabled. This course focuses on a range of implementation strategies including environmental adaptation, use and design of adaptive equipment, restructuring cognitive complexity and training caregivers to assist individuals in regaining functional independence in meaningful activities. Offered spring term each year.
