A proficiency-oriented intermediate course consisting of a review of elementary skills and an integrated development of more complex listening, speaking, reading and writing skills. Cultural and literary readings serve as a basis for class discussion and written compositions. Three class periods and one laboratory period per week. French 211 offered fall term each year; French 212 offered spring term each year.
