A course designed to increase the students' knowledge of the construction and interrelationship of basic financial statements and their related components. Students acquire or further develop the skills necessary to understand, analyze, evaluate, and use the information contained within corporate financial reports. The course addresses the issues related to the use of accounting information for external reporting purposes, management analysis, decision-making, planning, and control. The emphasis is on the presentation of accounting as a tool for decision-making.
