Topics include three-dimensional structure of proteins, enzymes, metabolism, protein synthesis, RNA and DNA chemistry, and recombinant DNA. Prerequisite: CHE 332. CHE 331 is a prerequisite for CHE 332. Lecture, 3 hours; laboratory, 3 hours.
