Internship that provides work experience where the student may apply classroom knowledge and gain approved and supervised experience in a specific field or career area. May be unpaid or paid. Must have completed a minimum of 36 semester hours and have a minimum cumulative GPA of 2.5. An internship carries 3SH or elective credit for 200 contact hours; 6SH awarded for 400 contact hours. Must register for internship by the end of the term during which the internship is being completed. A maximum of 6SH of internships may be applied toward graduation. All internships must be initated in the Career Center.
