The introductory course for students who intend to take additional chemistry courses other than Chemistry 83. 11: emphasizes stoichiometry and atomic and molecular structures. 12: emphasizes thermodynamics, chemical kinetics, synthesis, and analysis. Laboratory work includes both qualitative and quantitative analysis.
