Drawing on their previous course work, students will analyze environmental problems from ecological, economic, ethical, and sociopolitical perspectives. Students work in teams to (1) research and present to the class reviews of selected topics in environmental problem solving, and (2) develop and analyze management alternatives for local environmental problems. The teams present their projects in written and oral form. Prerequisite: second-year graduate/professional; ecology or forestry, economics, quantitative methods; or consent of instructor.
