Efficiencies and environmental impacts of both new and established energy sources and conversion methods. Consideration of alternative energy technologies, including electricity generation by fossil fuels, nuclear, solar, wind and water; space heating and cooling by traditional methods and by solar; and transportation energy in automobiles, mass transit and freight.
