Theory and application of environmentally and socially sustainable practices in settings including businesses, academic institutions, and personal lives. Ethical concerns that accompany modern local and global environmental problems. Challenges, trade-offs between costs and benefits, and potential solutions to different greening options. Topics include alternative energy production and consumption, sustainable agriculture practices, resource conservation, environmental assessments, economic questions and social responsibility.
