Topics including the forces of natural selection and aging, stress and telomere length, free radicals and oxidative damage, calorie restriction, the obesity epidemic, degenerative diseases and stem cells. Social and political impact of increasing life expectancies and the consequences of shifting global demographics. Ethical questions such as the value of doubling human life span.
