Studio course in which students are expected to produce a small series of closely related sculptural projects with an eye towards architectural concerns. Investigations into the making of objects and structures in human scale, set within a general context of engineering and the capturing or inhabiting of space. Programmatic considerations of site, shape, light, proportion, strength, tactility, spatial sequence and the surround. Instructor consent required. Prerequisite: ARTSVIS 110 or equivalent.
