Prerequisites: Completion of all 300 level Nursing courses and PSYC/SOCI 301 or other approved statistics course (grade of “C” or better). The course focuses on assessing needs, promoting health, and preventing disease in vulnerable individuals, groups, and communities. Family and community assessments will be performed utilizing multidisciplinary theories and principles. This course cannot be challenged.
