Description:

Prerequisites: Completion of all 300 level HEAL courses (grade of “C” or better) and SOCI 312 (grade of “C” or better). The course exposes the student to the physiological, emotional/mental, spiritual and social changes inherent in the aging process, while focusing on the benefits of healthy living in the older years. The unique challenges and opportunities found in planning, designing and implementing health promotion programs for older adults are emphasized. This course cannot be challenged.
