Prerequisites: Completion of all 200 level HEAL courses (grade of “C” or better) and KINE 201 (grade of “C” or better); Prerequisites or Corequisites: BIOL 345 (grade of “C” or better) and HEAL 260 or other approved growth and development course (grade of “C” or better). The course provides the student with an overview of the health status and major health problems of women. The course focuses on the interaction among biological, behavioral and sociocultural factors on women’s health. Gender-sensitive research and health promotion strategies will be examined. This course cannot be challenged.
