Prerequisites: HEAL 301 (grade of “C” or better), BIOL 345 (grade of “C” or better) and HEAL 260 or other approved growth and development course (grade of “C” or better). The course provides the student with exposure to the application of the wide-range of strategies, methodologies, technology, and resources used in the design and development of health promotion interventions in community health education settings. Responsibilities of health educators and analysis of the health forces affecting health needs will be explored. This course cannot be challenged.
