Prerequisites: 6 hours of CHEM 200 level or above (grade of “C” or better), PHYS 201-202 (grade of “C” or better), and MATH 222 (grade of “C” or better). Application of the laws and principles of physics and mathematics to the study of chemistry, with special emphasis on thermodynamics, equilibrium, gases, solutions and electrochemistry. Lecture 3 hours, Laboratory 3 hours. (Laboratory fee required)
